Title: Milking Sucks

Designer: Larni Williams

Garment Description

Larni Williams designed "Milking Sucks".  It was designed with falling milk prices in mind.  "Milking Sucks" brings a fun, sleek and modern take on the usually more productive dairy milking cups.  Fertiliser and seed bags bring color to the garment with strapping, elastrator rings, washers and green twine also featuring in the garment.  Second hand milking cups have been scrubbed up to their former glory and added to this design to make the point that right now .... Milking Sucks!!

Designer's Background

Larni Williams lives on a farm at Torrumburry on the Murray River.  She is a year 9 student at Echuca College and although she enjoys her studies, she has many interests outside of school.  Anything to do with creative design whether it be scrapbooking, card making, creative cooking (especially desserts!) home design, landscaping or wearable art - all these things are Larni's creative outlet.  She also loves dance and this year was a stage member in Echuca College's successful Rock Eisteddfod team.  Travelling has also become an interest over the last couple of years.  Larni is 16 and this is her third year entering the Ag Art in Elmore.
