Title: Kakadu

Garment Description

Nola Wallis from Serviceton has produced this garment and it is her dream one day to visit Kakadu National Park and to see the beauty of nature at its best. The water lilies that magically appear from the water on elegant stems just inspire with their perfection. Although from the audience you may not be able to see all the work, but all the wire has been wrapped with with copper wire to give demension and light to the swirls and twists. Have a close look if you can. This creation was made from fencing wire, copper wire, rubber belting, plastic buckets, cattle ear tags, potato and onion bags, hail protector cloth, broom bristles from a large orchard sweeper, grape vine tape, black weed mat and electric fencing tape.

Designer's Description

Nola Wallis together with her husband live on their farm south of Serviceton. Nola is a multiple winner of previous Ag Art Wear Competitions and this is her sixth year of competition.
