Rochester Rotary Driver Education Complex
For Year 10, 11 & 12 Students
An initiative of the Rochester Rotary Club.
We specialise in training young people with a focus on reducting road trauma. Our program is about providing effective road safety education and driving behaviour.
We use our motor vehicles and a closed road course to emulate road situations as effective learning tools.
We foster safe driving habits, awareness and an attitude conducive to safe travel in a motor vehicle.
Course Content Includes:
- Vehicle control
- Peripheral vision
- Observation
- Steering and cornering techniques
- Hazard recognition
- Crash evasion
- Braking control
- Road survival skills
- Victorian Police talk
- 15 hours tuition
- Theory classroom
- Closed road course
