AAFDA - Association of Agricultural Field Days of Australia
The Association of Agricultural Field Days of Australasia (AAFDA) seeks to publicise through the rural sector and related associations, sector interest bodies, and exhibitors that members of the AAFDA have adopted and subscribe to a set of standards that are focused on developing business in the rural sector and identifying member promulgations as worthy of rural sector support.

Agribusiness Pavilion
Another impressive range of exhibitors have accepted sites within the new 5,808 square metre Agribusiness Pavilion located on the south end of the Elmore Field Days site.
This will be the second year of use for the new building which was officially opened at the 2011 Field Days.

Elmore Events Centre - A Venue For Business
The Elmore Events Centre is home to the annual Elmore Field Days in October each year together with a growing range of agricultural and other functions and events.
Conveniently situated in north central Victoria this unique venue will soon be an even more valuable facility when the major new development and building plan is completed later in the year to complement the existing facilities on the 154 ha site.

Extensive Shearing Shed Program
The Shearing Shed on the Elmore Site is always a focus for wool and sheep producers and this year will be no exception with an information packed schedule of events.
The five groups in the Elmore Ewes for the Future Trial will be shorn over the three days, commencing with the SAMM team on the Tuesday morning and the Border Leicester –Merino Cross in the afternoon.
On the Wednesday the program is the shearing of the Northern Victoria Merinos in the morning and the Centre Plus Merino team in the afternoon.
While on the Thursday the Dohne Team’s shearing is scheduled in the morning.

General Interest Area
With the Elmore Field Days dates this year falling within the Victorian school holidays the Committee has sought to present a range of programs and features that will create plenty of family appeal for farm families as well as visitors from the rural and regional communities throughout north central Victoria.
The General Interests displays in the George Holmberg Pavilion are always interesting, comprehensive and holding appeal for all ages.

Inpaddock Demonstrations
A feature of the Field Days is the comparative demonstrations with a full program each day. All equipment must be new or thoroughly cleaned e.g. sprayers of all chemical residue; seeding and grain handling equipment to avoid the transference of foreign and noxious weeds.

Telstra Road to Discovery
The Telstra Road to Discovery project is currently celebrating ten years as Australia’s premier music development program.
Since inception the project has launched the careers of leading Australian artists of the likes of Shannon Noll, James Blundell, Ella Hooper and Catherine Britt.
All are ‘graduates’ of the Telstra national music development program which is open to both performers and songwriters.
This year Elmore Field Days has been selected to showcase some of Victoria’s best blues and roots, folk, country and alternative country emerging talents.
