EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO CONTSTRUCT - 5808 sq.m. Pavilion

The Committee of Elmore & District Machinery Field Days Incorporated is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified parties for the construction at the Elmore Events Centre of an enclosed pavilion of approximately 88m by 66m clear span, 10m high at eaves, with sliding doors.

The completed facility will be multi-purpose, functioning as undercover space for both field days exhibitors and varied activities during the year, including equestrian events.

These works are part of a $1.3 million infrastructure development program made possible with 50% state government funding and aimed to assist in securing the viability and sustainability of this venue by enhancing its existing facilities.

The construction works shall include the following:

• Supply and/or erection
• associated earth works
• concrete supply & laying
• electrical
• plumbing

All works will be subject to relevant council permits. They will be carried out and completed in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

With major regional events and a broad catchment area in north central Victoria and southern New South Wales, excellent marketing opportunities exist and sponsorship proposals will be considered favourably.

The site for the new development is located at 48 Rosaia Road (Corner Midland Highway), Elmore Victoria 3558.

Written EOI should be submitted by 5 February 2010 . Please include details of recently completed similar works and capacity to commence in the first half of this year.
