School holiday fun for the whole family

Entertain the children this school holidays with a trip to the Elmore Field Days.

For the first time in three years, the three day event falls in the school holiday period- allowing more families to enjoy the array of fun on offer.

Also a drawcard for families is the fact the children under 12 receive free entry and there will be plenty of activities all available at no cost.

Quiky Tales with Narelle Stone will be back due to popular demand. Ms Stone, who is a well-known amateur actress and is regarded as one of Victoria's most popular librarians, will delight children with her animal story-time and plenty of audience involvement.

"I tell a couple of stories to the children and we often get some volunteers up on stage" Ms Stone said. "They have a chance to tell a part of the story." I think kids like to play, like to sing and they like to see an adult up on stage having fun."

Also among other attractions for children are two jumping castles, face painting, wood craft, giveaways, a balloon artist and a colouring competition.

Quirky Tales with Narelle Stone will be performing in the Auditorium daily from 12.30pm -1pm.
