Current role at Field Days:
Public Relations Officer (PRO) and Marketing Committee
I am also on the budget committee, compensation committee, crane committee, farm committee and the feature committee.
Notable/favourite roles at the Field Days in the past:
I wouldn’t say ive had a favourite role, but I have really enjoyed my time on the executive committee and working with the general committee over the many years I’ve been involved.
How many years have you been on the committee / involved in the Field Days for?
I have been involved since I was 16, so that’s 26 years! I started out where most young people do, in the car park helping the parking committee.
Why did you join the Committee?
I joined the committee because I could see what a huge asset it is for the Elmore community and wanted to be a part of it. I also enjoy seeing the funds that are given back to the local community thanks to our volunteers.
What is your favourite part of the Field Days?:
It is hard to pick a favourite part but it’s always good feeling to sit back after its finished and see what we’ve achieved.
How do you enjoy spending your spare time?:
In the very limited spare time I have I try to get some fishing in and enjoy spending time with the family and watching the kids play sports.
