Welcome to the Elmore Field Days
2008 EXHIBITORS PROSPECTUS FOR ELMORE FIELD DAYS RELEASED
The Prospectus for Exhibitors for the 2008 Elmore & District Machinery Field Days to be held on October 7, 8 & 9 has been released.
The closing date for site applications for the 45th annual Elmore Field Days is Monday, 30 June, 2008.
All previous exhibitors automatically receive a copy of the current year’s Prospectus, and new site applications are welcome from companies and businesses wishing to reach the significant farming, rural and agribusiness sectors in the north central Victoria and southern New South Wales Riverina region.
In line with the Field Days' policy, the scope for new exhibitors is determined by the availability of display site space and having a demonstrated relevance to the agricultural products and services, farm machinery and related technology theme of the Field Days.
Elmore is the only Victorian Field Days event which carries the endorsement of the Tractor & Machinery Association.

The Feature at Elmore this year is devoted to Renewable Energy and will invite the wider rural community to capitalize on climate change by employing all aspects of solar, wind and renewable energy options.
In addition the Field Days Community is working closely with the Bendigo Campus of Latrobe University and the Bendigo Community Banks to raise the understanding of farmers about carbon trading and in particular the carbon emissions generated in agriculture entitled ‘CO² and You’.
Elmore's Field Days President Darren Trewick said that his Committee is striving to make the Field Days a carbon friendly event plus this year there will be usual run of important information opportunities for farmers including the cropping demonstration plots, the in-paddock equipment demonstration program, a new prime lamb trial.
We are also making steady progress towards the creation of a major equestrian sports facility on the Elmore Events Centre site.
“We have allocated an area of about 16 ha (or almost 40 acres) for the site which is currently under-utilized, to provide a quality facility which will support the local equestrian, Pony Club and competition horse activities of north central Victoria” Darren Trewick added
All the traditional Field Days events including the major general interest exhibits and the Ag Art Wear® feature which attract all members of the family will also continue as normal.
Prospective new exhibitors are invited to contact the office immediately for a copy of the 2008 Prospectus for Exhibitors.
