Information for Visitors - Introduction
This year our display sites are being booked out much earlier than normal with the level of enquiry from prospective new exhibitors the strongest in some years.
New exhibitors invariably mean new equipment and services and a compelling reason for you not to miss each year.
The Field Days Committee is diligent in ensuring that new exhibitors have to demonstrate a relevance to the rural business and farming sector so the Elmore Field Days continue to be a highlight in regional Australia's calendar.

Demonstrations in Paddock
A feature of the Field Days is the comparative demonstrations with a full program each day. All equipment must be new or thoroughly cleaned e.g. sprayers of all chemical residue; seeding and grain handling equipment to avoid the transference of foreign and noxious weeds.

Ewes for the Future Trial
The Elmore Field Days have commenced a comparison of five ewe breeds for prime lamb production. Crossbred ewes, Peppin Merinos, Centreplus Merinos, Dohnes and SAMMs are represented in the trial.

It houses 79 sites indoors and with the addition of marquee sites along the outside east, west and north walls of the pavilion, will take in an extra 28 (3x3) sites making a total of 107 sites available. Exhibitors will demonstrate commercial goods, cottage industry, handcrafts and clothing products.

Capitalising on a Climate of Change
One of the most critical concerns for farmers and the rural population in present times is the effects that issues related to climate change are having on primary production and our community. Consequently, the aim of this Feature is to promote awareness; a greater understanding of the issues and to educate
patrons on just how to tackle this serious challenge to our livelihoods and lifestyles. Applications are now invited to exhibit in 2009 in this feature.

Elmore Events Centre - A Venue For Business
The Elmore Events Centre is home to the annual Elmore Field Days in October each year together with a growing range of agricultural and other functions and events.
Conveniently situated in north central Victoria this unique venue will soon be an even more valuable facility when the major new development and building plan is completed later in the year to complement the existing facilities on the 154 ha site.
