Why did you join the Committee?

I have been attending the Elmore Field Days since I was born, my father is a long serving committee member and my grandfather was the founding President, which inspired me to want to join.  I have forever looked up to the committee and have always wanted to be a part of the future of the Field Days and its legacy.

What is your favourite part of the Field Days?

Seeing the Elmore Field Days community unite and watching lots of people volunteer to help run the Field Days.  It's rewarding to see the success of the Field Days and how it comes together with all the hard work put in by everyone.  I also enjoy seeing all the new farming technologies and the advances in different industries.

Role at the Field Days?

This is my first year on the committee, I will be helping with the service committee this year.

How do you enjoy spending your spare time?

I enjoy playing netball, water skiing in the summer, swimming and helping on the family farm.

Why do you think it is important to get young people to join the committee?

I think it's important to get young people on board so that the Field Days can continue to run for the future generations. I think young people can bring a lot of new ideas and perspectives, which combined with those already on committee will assist the Elmore Field Days in appealing to younger generations and boost attendance.
