Current role at Field Days:
On the Executive Committee as the Immediate Past President
Also on various other committees including the Farm Committee where we look after the site year round, and I am the Emergency Response Coordinator during the Field Days.
Notable/favourite roles at the Field Days in the past:
All of the roles I’ve had have had their challenges, but the end result of seeing the field days come together is always pleasing.
How many years have you been on the committee / involved in the Field Days for?
I have been on the committee for 20 years but have been attending the Field Days since I could walk.
Why did you join the Committee?
I moved back to the area and Ron Trewick approached me to get involved.
It is a great organisation to be a part of, with so many community minded people working towards the same thing.
What is your favourite part of the Field Days?
Seeing the crowds roll in every year would have to be my favourite part.
How do you enjoy spending your spare time?
I am involved in other community organisations around the town, including being President of the local Football Netball Club and I also enjoy spending time with my family.
